BIKRAM YOGA 90 MINUTES (26&2)

A sequence of 26 postures which includes 2 breathing exercises. Done in the heat, 40 degrees with 40 percent humidity. It has been proven and experienced by millions that these 26 postures systematically work every part of the body, to give all the internal organs, glands, muscles, tendons, and ligaments everything they need to maintain optimum health and functioning. Each component of the series takes care of something different in the body, and yet they all work together synergistically, contributing to the success of every other posture, and extending all of their respective benefits.

BIKRAM YOGA EXPRESS (26&2)

The Bikram Yoga Express class is the Bikram Yoga series done within one hour, as opposed to the usual 90 minutes. It is 26 Postures and 2 breathing exercises but only 5 of the postures are done twice.
This series systematically works every part of the body, to give all the internal organs, all the veins, all the ligaments, and all the muscles everything they need to maintain optimum health and maximum function. Each component of the series takes care of something different in the body, and yet all the postures work together synergistically, contributing to the success of every other posture in the series, and extending its benefits.

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga is a profoundly relaxing and inwardly balancing practice taught in aheat-turned down room to the accompaniment of relaxing music. It focusses on stretching the connective tissue of the body--fascia, tendons, and ligaments--whilst holding postures in stillness for a time.
Muscles are not engaged during the postures to enable the connective tissue to be affected as one breathes and surrenders into the postures. As such, the practice is a meditative experience.A feeling of relaxed euphoria is a normal by-product of the class.
The Yin practice stimulates pressure points in the body along the energy meridians as in acupuncture, and thereby helps release deep-rooted physical and energetic blockages. Yin Yoga is a fantastic compliment to more vigourous "yang" style practices such as Bikram Yoga.
