CLASS PREP

HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE BEFORE CLASS?

It is best to arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before class to get settled in, change, and set your yoga mat and towel down in the hot room. 

We cannot gaurentee that the doors will be open more than 30 mintues before class or 30 minutes after class. If you do arrive early, please wait until the doors are open. 

We do not allow late entries into the room, if you are going to be less than 5 minutes late we can put a mat down in the room ($2.00 mat rental fee). Understand that this is in place to be respectful to those who are on time and not to disrupt the class after it has begun. 

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

At Midtown Yoga, we do require a 2 hour cancellation policy.  If you think you won't make it to class the night before, or the day of, we suggest that you cancel the class and if circumstances change can reregister again and attend class. 

This is a courteosy to allow any members on the wait list to attend class. If you cancel class last minute, there will be a $10.00 late cancellation charge.

If you do not cancel class and simply don't show up, your account will be billed a $20 NO SHOW fee within 24 hours.

You can cancel the class you are registerd for on your Midtown Yoga app, email the studio, or give us a call if it's too close to class and an emergency has come up. 

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?

Staying comfortable is the ultimate goal during any one of our classes.  Most individuals prefer to wear leggings and a yoga bra (female) and shorts with no shirts (males). The room does rich hot temperatures and you will perspire during class.  For the Bikram Yoga class, it is best to refrain from wearing lose shirts as this may interfere with your postures.

DO YOU HAVE LOCKERS?

We provide lockers that are equiped with locks and keys to safely store your items.

WHAT IS A CLASS LIKE?

Classes at Midtown Yoga are fun! We beleive in a warm and friendly environment. The studio is hot and the temperature depends on which class you are participating in.

 

ARE THERE CLASSES FOR DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE LEVELS?

At Midtown Yoga we believe that all individuals at all levels should come and take class!  This is YOUR practice and you work at the level you are currently at.

HOW OLD MUST I BE TO TAKE A CLASS?

We do require individuals to be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent prior to taking class. You are required to sign a waiver before your first class.

 

Amenities 

DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS?

Midtown Yoga is quipped with multiple showers in both the men's and women's locker rooms. We do ask as a courteosy to limit your shower time to 3 minutes or less to allow all members the ability to have a shower.

 

DO YOU SELL CLOTHING AND OTHER YOGA ACCESORIES?

In studio we offer a variety of yoga clothing to purchase for the ladies from yoga pants, to yoga bras, shorts and more. We also offer yoga mat towels for purchase, blocks, yoga wheels, mats and more! We encourage everyone to check out our online store (link can found on our website).

 

DO YOU SELL SUPPLEMENTS AND/OR BEVERAGES?

During intense exercise in the hot room we do encourage everyone to consider adding an electrolyte to their water. We sell Vega products including electrolytes and protein supplements. We also offer a variety of water and kombucha beverages for purchase.

 

DO I NEED ANY OF MY OWN EQUIPMENT?

You are required to bring your own yoga mat, towel and any other item you may use during your hot yoga practice. For our Inferno Hot Pilates classes, bands and weights will be provided. If for any reason you have forgotten an item, we do offer Yoga Mats and Towels for a minimal rental fee, or you are welcome to purchase a new item that is for sale in our studio.

PAYMENTS, BILLING & CANCELLATION POLICIES

HOW DO I UPDATE MY CARD ON FILE?

At Midtown we make it convenient to purchase memberships, product and other amenties by keep your credit card linked to your account. If for some reason you need to change or update your card on file, you can do so through your Midtown Yoga App/Login, or call or come in and someone at the front desk can help you make those changes.

 

WHO DO I TALK TO CANCEL?

We request that you send as an email outlining your request for cancellation. We often suggest that members put their account on hold if something has come up, and then resume once they are ready to attend the studio again.
