WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our program is designed for all abilities and we love beginners! You do not need to come with any experience in the gym, just be ready to work hard!

Fully commit to the entire length of the program. There will be difficult workouts and challenges. We want participants who will see it through to the end!

Be disciplined enough to apply our nutrition plan. The program does not work without your committment. You WILL see results as long as you follow along.

Understand that all transformations are welcome. This challenge won't be solely about losing weight, and every may come with a different goal in mind. That's what makes the class unique!

Be willing to take before and after pictures so you're able to track your progress. Results don't only come from a scale, being able to SEE them will help keep you motivated. 

Have respect for your fellow class members, coaches, and the rules of the gym and come to each class with a positive attitude.

Rebecca Rose - Studio Owner


Rebecca has been practcing at Midtown Yoga Kitchener Waterloo since August 5th, 2008. Her love of Bikram yoga has transformed her life and she is excited to share this passion with you. 

For this former correctional officer turned yoga teacher, and now studio owner (as of January 2019) the path has been long and winding. 

Rebecca went to Bikram Yoga teacher training in Spring of 2013. A continual learner she also is certified to teach yin yoga, paddle board yoga and Inferno Hot Pilates. 

Rebecca Rose teaches a sweet and straightforward class. Her high energy in the hot room will motivate you to want to come back for more. She believes that Bikram yoga and Inferno Hot Pilates is truly designed to help each student in a special way and it is the driving force behind why she wanted to become a teacher. Rebecca knows that building a firm foundation not only inside the room but outside the hot room is the key to success. She reminds students to not give up on themselves if they don't see the results they want right away. Remember these practices work in magical ways, just know it is working and enjoy the journey. In moments of self doubt know that you are stronger than you think you are. Join her for a class that is playful and fun that will leave you with a smile on your face and a whole lot of giggles.

In addition to teaching Rebecca loves to paddleboard in the summer, snowboard in the winter and travel all year round. Keeping active and healthy is a driving force that motivates her daily; she loves to share her passion and excitement for life and all it has to offer with others.

WHY DO WE DO THIS?

The High 5 Challenge was created to make Functional Training accessible to a larger population. We have personally experienced the life-changing power of functional fitness and wanted to find a way for others to connect as well. We know it can be scary or intimidating to come into the gym on your own, which is why the group process is so powerful! Everyone will benefit from the workouts if they just commit and engage, and now they can do that in a safe and friendly setting.

What we want is to find individuals who are ready to jump in, work hard, and embrace the program with an open mind and attitude. Functional Training CAN transform your life, and we are looking for individuals who will represent the program by putting their best foot forward.
